The licensing power of Lego continues to amaze me! The newest Lego Group partner, just announced today at the London Toyfair is a fantastic one - Warner Bros. and Scooby Doo!
Pictured here is Scooby Doo Lego set 75902: The Mystery Machine, released today as part of the official Lego press release. It looks like an incredible set for only $29.99. Due out in August of 2015 it has 301 pieces, three great new minifigs including Fred and Shaggy, and Scooby himself!
Also announced, there will be four other Scooby Doo Lego sets:
75900-1: Mummy Museum Mystery
75901-1: Mystery Plane Adventures
75903: Haunted Lighthouse
75904: Mystery Mansion, presumably the big set - I can't wait for that one!
Pictures of the other sets have not officially been released yet, but unofficial pictures of the Velma and Daphne minifigs have emerged.
To complete the gang, lets take a closer look at the minifigs of Fred, Shaggy and Scooby from the Mystery Machine set:
I'm so glad to see Lego reaching back to the good ol' days for this newest license. Scooby-Doo is retro and classic! I can barely wait for August to get here!
